While likely to be thought of as "left-wing", you differ from Social Egalitarians by being less strongly concerned with the redistribution of wealth. You embrace change and don't seek a return to the Iran of years gone by. No matter where you live, you feel more comfortable in capital cities where you find more people with a similar outlook. Most likely to get on with: Social Egalitarians, just avoid talking about tax/welfare Least likely to get on with: You'll likely find Traditionalists a bit too....traditional

Ambitious Outsider

You focus on the future. You like an organised and predictable life and want your families to have security and stability. You stay away from politics and are unlikely to express opinions about controversial issues. You tend to support more personal freedoms. You are likely to support the government on important issues. You believe government should intervene to make people's lives safer and more secure. Most likely to get on with:Ambitious Outsiders treat you respectfully Least likely to get on with: Progressive Cosmopolitans may seem like they want too much change too fast

You like luxury and enjoy looking good. You're proud of your country and work with the system for your own gain. You don't engage politically too much, especially on controversial issues. You are concerned with Iran’s position internationally and in the region. You want to see an economically strong and powerful Iran. You don't think the government should intervene too much in society. Most likely to get on with: You probably get on quite well with Progressive Cosmopolitans, as long as you don't talk too much about politics Least likely to get on with: Positive Skeptics are too controversial for you

Positive skeptic

You don't trust the government to solve your problems. You think that politicians interfere, don't listen and make things worse - and as a result, society has lost its way. That doesn't mean you've given up on making things better. You just don't trust that the traditional ways of improving society can work for you. You don't need life to be predictable or organised. You are ready to tackle what ever challenges come your way. Most likely to get on with: Frustrated Cynics, at least they don't bother you with their ideas Least likely to get on with: Lavish Conservatives are sell-outs

Frustrated Cynic

You despair about the direction of society and the country. You feel pessimistic about the future and let down by the community. You are careful with money. You are generally supportive of climate action but don't believe the government has the will to do anything. You may have originally supported the nuclear deal with the west, but are now disappointed with its results. When it comes to government, you believe more in personal responsibility than government intervention. Most likely to get on with: Cosmopolitans on the environment, Skeptics on the state of society Least likely to get on with: Lavish Conservatives are too full of themselves

For Media

Just like you, we think it is important to inform people about their world. We want to make sure that a lot of Iranians get the chance to think about their surroundings. That is why you, as a news medium, and Kieskompas, should work together. We can offer you banners advertising the rayeman.me tool, as well as an iframe you can include in your website. More interestingly though, based on the data we gather through the tool, we can discuss any analysis we can conduct for you to publish on. Interviews with prof dr. André Krouwel are also an option.
